Series update of Echo the ring run to next step of fifth update, Korean server. The first, second, third and forth had been implemented to the game. Several changes had been fix also. The echo of the fifth ring update has been launched on August 22, 2012. The update focus on PK system and skill changes. Detail information of the changes can be found as information bellow:
Death Penalty Changes:
- Reduced death penalty of character level 86 had been modified. When the experience bellow 0%, the character will downgrade.
- The qualification of mentee can not achieved when the character level 86 downgrade due to death penalty.
- Initialization of skill level 4 strengthening will downgrade also as the death penalty.
- Resurrection: reduction times changes from 6s to 2s
- Salvation: reduction 6s to 2s
- Mass resurrection: reduction time changes 10s to 3s, reuse 2 minutes 30 second to 10 minutes
- Iss resurrection: reduction 3s to 2s, It is possible to reduce the distance before (900 grid → 400 grid)
- Blessing resurrection: time has been fixed
- Party resurrection: time has been fixed
- Resurrection scroll: time reduction from 15s to 5s
- Bless resurrection scroll: time reduction 3s to 1s
PK level 4 or greater system has been fixed with the following rule. The existing system allow random drop of 5 items, the new system provides random drop of 5 items include augment or bondage item.

- Enchanted item effect +4, +5, +6 of armor set has been changed with larger HP increase.
